Jerrie

Jerrie has worked with Woodberry for 4 years. Her qualifications include a level 3 Cache Diploma in childcare and education and a 2.1 BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Education. Jerrie’s skills and qualifications made her the ideal candidate to lead the setting in the delivery of our Positive Behaviour Management policies. Jerrie is a strong believer that there is a direct impact between the quality of the preschool environment and the engagement of her children. A great example of this can be found in her introduction of “Loose Parts Play” in the preschool. Collections of tactile items have provided her children with real world learning. The impact of her work has shown children practicing and perfecting collaboration, sharing thinking, problem-solving and decision-making. The outcome has been evident – better play experiences.  Jerrie was an instrumental member of the team when we achieved our Outstanding status in 2017.
